Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Declare shipments via the ALDEC system based on customer company status and in compliance with the Royal Malaysian Customs Act.
  2. Verify, check, and validate all documents such as invoices, packing lists, and AWBs for correct quantities, customs coding, clauses, etc.
  3. Ensure accurate information is entered into the ALDEC system, including quantities, customs coding, and clauses.
  4. Advise the customs job number to CB Customer Service once the shipment is declared.
  5. Attend customs refresher training, if required.
  6. Accept any other job responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
  7. Note that job responsibilities are subject to revision.
Qualifications
  • Minimum SPM qualification with at least three (3) years of experience in the logistics industry.
  • Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of customs management systems is an added advantage.
  • Service-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have valid rights to work and live in Malaysia.
