Job summary

A leading oil palm company in Kuching is seeking a Cleaning Technician. You will be responsible for daily cleaning of office and laboratory areas, carry out laundry duties, and monitor cleaning supplies. Ideal candidates should possess an SPM or equivalent qualification and have at least one year of experience in janitorial work. Physical fitness is essential for the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of prior experience in laboratory cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of office and laboratory areas.
• Carry out laundry duties including washing and ironing.
• Monitor and track cleaning supplies and notify when restocking is needed.
• Ensure rubbish bins are emptied daily and refuse areas are clean.
• Assist in cleaning and preparing vessels for media preparation when required.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the superior.
