Projects Manager (CSA) responsible for the design and construction of civil, structural, and architectural engineering projects, handling preparation of bids and surveys of construction projects. He / She is responsible for preparing schedules, communicating with clients, and overseeing project progress.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Oversee and regularly review engineering processes and resources to maximize efficiency and productivity.
2. Develop plans for new engineering initiatives, including investigating new technologies and developing plans for new project implementations.
3. Create and maintain cost estimates for projects and programs.
4. Conduct reviews of engineering projects to determine their compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and codes.
5. Analyze and resolve engineering problems and demonstrate effective skills in oral and written communication.
6. Review specifications and bidding documents, schedule appointments, and provide engineering advice and support.
7. Perform structural, hydraulic, and environmental engineering projects, and collaborate with project team members and clients.
8. Provide civil engineering support for all activities in the project, such as environmental permitting, permitting process development, and preliminary engineering, as well as during construction.
9. Conduct technical reviews of engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
10. Design and plan structures, systems, and facilities for new construction or remodeling.
11. Develop concepts, plans, and layouts for new or existing properties.
12. Create detailed designs and drawings using CAD software.
13. Review and analyze blueprints, plans, and layouts to ensure compliance with building codes and ordinances.
14. Conduct worksite inspections during the designing and building process.
15. Supervise and direct the work of architects, designers, and drafting personnel.
16. Manage and delegate day-to-day activities, such as estimating, construction, scheduling, and bidding, for the design of a project.
17. Develop and update project documents and schedules, including sketches, renderings, scopes of services, permits, and permits.
18. Coordinate with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
19. Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships.
20. Analyze project proposals and contracts and recommend revisions.
21. Maintain regular communication with clients and subcontractors.
22. Prepare construction documents, schematics, tables, construction cost estimates, and project reports.
23. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
24. Collaborate with other members of Bridge Data Centres to accomplish engineering and organizational missions.

Qualifications

• Complete a Bachelor Degree in Civil, Structural, and/or Architecture, Engineering Management, or similar disciplines.
• Knowledge of civil engineering and architectural design.
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in high-rise construction industry.
• Experience in hyper-scale data centers, micro-electronics, or critical infrastructure preferred.
• Experience in construction management from mobilization to handover.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, collaboration, and time management software, including spreadsheets.
