Job summary

Tiong Nam Logistics Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Engineer to manage planning, coordination, and execution of Civil & Structural engineering works for construction projects in Malaysia. You will liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to meet project requirements and ensure on-time delivery within budget.

Responsibilities include developing plans and schedules, monitoring progress, and providing technical guidance to the construction team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural/mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry with proven project delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute Civil & Structural engineering works for construction projects.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to meet requirements and expectations.
• Develop plans, schedules, and budgets to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Monitor progress, identify risks/issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure construction activities comply with local codes, regulations and safety standards.
• Provide technical guidance and supervise site personnel and subcontractors.
• Review drawings, specifications, and submissions with the design team.
• Prepare reports, site updates, and management documentation.
• Support continuous improvement in engineering and project management processes.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior.
