About the role

Eswel Engineers Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak. As a Civil & Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and development of a variety of civil and structural engineering projects. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

Conducting structural analyses and design calculations for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.

Developing detailed engineering drawings and specifications to support construction activities

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, construction managers, and project stakeholders & Authorities

Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards

Providing technical support and problem-solving during the construction phase

Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in civil and structural engineering practices

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in the civil or structural engineering industry

Proficiency in structural analysis & design software, such as Prota Structure, Tekla, Mira

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Familiarity with local and national building codes and regulations

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
