Job description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Support the project team in planning, scheduling, executing, and coordinating the civil and structural works.
2. Perform civil & structural analysis/calculation and design engineering work for assigned projects.
3. Carry out inspection & periodically check to ensure activities on site are in accordance with the approved inspection test plan.
4. Review and verify drawings for accuracy and completeness for construction and material planning.
5. Coordinate with site in-charge for inspection and meetings about technical and engineering matters.
6. Monitor project work progress and ensure compliance with drawings, design specifications, regulations, and safety standards.
7. Review and make recommendations in relation to equipment and resource requirements to effectively and efficiently deliver projects.
8. Communicate and liaise with the client’s representative, subcontractors, relevant authorities, and consultants for project-related matters and requirements.
9. Ensure the project is constructed on time and within budget as per contract plan and specification.
10. Provide and prepare work progress updates, site issues, and reports to the manager.
11. Other tasks & projects as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

1. At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
2. Required Skill(s): AutoCAD Software, Microsoft Office.
3. Possess good communication skills.
4. Strong knowledge of structural materials, construction techniques, and building codes and regulations.
5. Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
6. Able to work overtime if required.
7. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
8. Able to start work ASAP.
