Job description

Job Responsibility

• Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage systems, and infrastructure, using AutoCAD software.
• Collaborate with civil engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and translate design concepts into accurate and comprehensive drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies, maintaining accuracy and consistency throughout the drafting process.
• Review and interpret survey reports, geotechnical data, and other relevant information to incorporate accurate site conditions into drawings.
• Manage and maintain drawing files, revisions, and documentation, ensuring proper organization and accessibility for project teams.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior drafters, assisting with complex drafting tasks and ensuring quality control of their work.
• Communicate effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin with team members, clients, and stakeholders to clarify design details and resolve any drafting-related issues.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant technical drawing software.
• Ability to produce accurate and detailed technical drawings and plans based on engineering specifications.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Prior experience in a similar role within the construction/building industry is an advantage.
