Job summary

Ce rôle implique la conception détaillée, la coordination de projets et l'utilisation de logiciels d'ingénierie tels qu'AutoCAD et Civil 3D. Qualifications

• Minimum de 3 à 5 ans d'expérience dans le design détaillé.
• Capacité à travailler sous pression avec un minimum de supervision.
• Expérience pratique avec les logiciels de conception et d'analyse.

Responsibilities

• Effectuer des calculs de conception et préparer la documentation technique.
• Assister aux réunions de site et coordonner le design avec les clients.
• Assurer la conformité avec les critères de conception et les normes.

What will you do?

In this position you will play an integral part of supporting the Civil division and its success whilst establishing best of Civil Engineering practices.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’

• Perform or initiate conceptual, basic, and detailed design calculations and drawings; prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, method statements, and other project documentation.
• Attend site meetings and conduct design coordination with clients, consultants, authorities, and contractors.
• Provide technical knowledge during the tendering process and project procurement; liaise between sub-contractors and the site, particularly regarding civil works.
• Ensure compliance with project design criteria, client briefs, approved concepts, and relevant design standards, as well as office standards.
• Read and understand project-related drawings to facilitate effective communication and implementation.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by the superior or team leader as necessary

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Registered with BEM
• Minimum 3 - 5 years working experience in detailed design in an engineering consulting firm
• Strong background in drainage, roads, water supply, earthwork, and sewerage
• Able to work independently and under pressure with minimum supervision
• Familiar with popular design software, hands-on experience in analyzing results from technical software; working knowledge in Civil 3D, EPANET, MiTS, and AutoCAD
• Good communication skills
