DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES AS C&S ENGINEER (BASED IN KOTA KINABALU - HQ)

a. Overall supervision of structural engineers.

b. Forecast requirement for structural engineering resources, and allocate those resources.

c. Technical supervision of project designated structural designers and draftsmen in the Execution of their duties.

d. Prepare weekly structural progress and expenditure reports on a project.

e. Supervision of Structural / Civil design work, budget and schedule in Project work when requested.

f. Prepare designs, sketches shop drawing and reports with supporting calculations for projects.

g. To assist in the production of detailed drawings, the development of quantities, materials lists and cost estimates as required.

h. Assist in the preparation of technical detail for quotations, contract documentation and technical specifications.

i. Liaise with suppliers, clients, consultants or commissioning engineers concerning the design, installation or construction and commissioning of assigned work.

j. Participate in the meetings and planning of projects as required.

k. To cooperate with the management or its representatives in the implementation of safety & health matters.

l. To cooperate and work as a team in achieving the QOHS Objective as stated in the QOHS manual.

j. To undertake other duties as and when instructed.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENT

a. A degree in Civil & Structural engineering or a discipline relevant to the project in hand or its equivalent or as specified by the client.
