About the role

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team at MITIME CONSTRUCTION MALAYSIA SDN BHD. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering projects, contributing to the successful delivery of our construction initiatives in Ipoh, Perak. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and drafting civil engineering plans, including structures, foundations, and infrastructure
• Conducting site assessments, surveys, and analyses to inform project planning and execution
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as architects, project managers, and construction personnel, to ensure seamless project delivery
• Monitoring and supervising construction activities to ensure adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Providing technical guidance and support to project teams, resolving any engineering-related issues that arise
• Preparing detailed reports, cost estimates, and other project documentation
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in civil engineering

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the civil engineering industry, preferably in the construction sector
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, including structural analysis, soil mechanics, and hydraulics
• Proficient in the use of CAD software, project management tools, and other relevant engineering software
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
