About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Civil and Structure Engineer to join our dynamic team at CLT ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY (M) SDN. BHD. in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. As a Civil and Structure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of large-scale infrastructure and construction projects, contributing to the company's growth and success.

What you'll be doing

1. Conducting site investigations, surveys, and soil analysis to gather necessary data for project design
2. Preparing detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications for civil and structural components
3. Collaborating with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
4. Monitoring construction progress and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
5. Providing technical support and problem-solving during the construction phase
6. Performing quality assurance and quality control checks to maintain high standards
7. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices
8. Well-versed with local authority submission and approval requirements
9. Liaising with local authority officers for technical queries and drawing submissions

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, preferably in the construction industry
3. Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, PROTA STRUCTURE, ETABS, and STAAD PRO
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
5. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
7. Familiar with local and international building codes and regulations
8. Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM)
9. Chinese speaking is an added advantage
