• Develop, prepare and/or review engineering plans and designs for civil & structural works, related certificates & documentation, and working drawings complying with client requirements and standard design codes.
• Pre-consultation with authorities to ensure civil & structural works are designed according to specifications/requirements.
• Prepare design calculation reports and drawings for authorities’ submissions.
• Attend and comply with technical comments from authorities.
• Liaise with clients, client representatives, and relevant authorities to resolve project issues.
• Coordinate, monitor, and ensure work progress is on schedule.
• Attend technical and site meetings with consultants.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably with work experience in an engineering consultancy firm. Experience in large-scale civil and structural projects is an advantage.
• Familiar with local authorities' requirements for design plan submissions and approvals.
• Able to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
• This position is based in Johor Bahru.
