Get to Know the Role

• We are looking for a City Marketplace & Retention Specialist who can regularly provide comprehensive insights into the city marketplace and shape the growth direction of Grab in the city. This role also acts as the city expert, advising the regional team on new product launches or strategies and supporting strategy execution in the city.
• You will report to the Marketplace & Retention Lead and be based in Kota Bahru, working onsite.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Perform marketplace performance data analysis of Grab and prepare reports & insights on the marketplace condition.
• Monitor on-ground sentiment via engagement activities & surveys and maintain strong relationships with key Driver-partners & Delivery-partners to obtain ground truth.
• Deliver valuable city insights and recommendations to stakeholders for action.
• Identify issues and opportunities in the city and propose strategies or solutions to support growth aligned with goals and resources.
• Coordinate and run campaigns, events, or projects independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• At least 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or in a business or tech company, or in strategy or business development.
• Strong stakeholder management skills—comfortable meeting new people and building relationships with Driver-partners, Delivery-partners, and government officials.
• Ability to travel.
