A leading financial services institution in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Circle Lead, Business Management to oversee project delivery and business operations within Group Treasury. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in treasury dealings, strong knowledge of treasury products, and excellent project management skills. This role demands collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. The position offers a chance to work on complex treasury initiatives and engage with senior management in a dynamic environment.
We are looking for an experienced Circle Lead, Business Management to support project delivery and business-as-usual activities within Group Treasury. This role combines project leadership, business solution ownership, and ongoing system and operational support. You will work closely with business users, technology teams, vendors, and governance committees to ensure projects and treasury platforms deliver real business value while meeting risk, compliance, and operational standards.
Project Implementation
Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through delivery and post-implementation support, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed scope, timeline, and budget.
Prepare and submit project papers for approval to relevant committees, including Project PSC, GDTC, GTAC, and the Board where required.
Actively participate in project implementation activities to ensure smooth cutover with minimal disruption to daily business operations.
Ensure compliance with defined project standards, quality controls, and governance requirements.
Conduct business impact assessments to ensure implementation activities are secure and well-controlled.
Develop and manage transition plans from project mode to business-as-usual, including process handover and knowledge transfer.
Provide subject matter expertise and leadership in the design, development, and implementation of agreed project scope, goals, and objectives.
Ensure all business deliverables align with RHB Group and divisional operational, risk, and compliance policies at all times.
Develop and manage effective UAT scenarios to validate business rules, trade workflows, and system functionality.
Design and execute comprehensive data migration strategies and plans.
Ensure business stakeholders are engaged, trained, and actively involved throughout UAT activities.
Track issues, follow up with users and vendors, and ensure timely resolution based on priority.
Prepare annual project budgets during the budget cycle and monitor approvals and drawdowns.
Support front office users on production issues, analysis of unusual P&L movements, product pricing, and system-related queries involving Murex, FINIQ, or related platforms.
Design and develop e-trade pads or templates to support efficient trade capture for Sales and Traders.
Design and enhance filters, views, simulations, and reports to support P&L, risk monitoring, and management reporting.
Minimum 8 years of experience in treasury dealings and treasury-related operations within an established regional financial services institution.
Strong understanding of treasury products, services, and end-to-end treasury operations; experience with Murex and or FINIQ is a strong advantage.
Good understanding of Group Treasury’s strategic role across FX, derivatives, fixed income, and money market activities.
Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong hands‑on experience in technology or application‑related project management.
