Job summary

NSF ENGINEERING SDN BHD is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to monitor and enforce health and safety regulations at project sites. You will conduct daily inspections, toolbox talks, and incident investigations while maintaining HSE records and coordinating with clients and authorities.

The ideal candidate holds a safety-related certificate or diploma, a CIDB Yellow Book, and 1–2 years of site safety experience, with strong communication and teamwork abilities and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or a related field.
• Possess a valid Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor) registered with the CIDB.
• At least 1–2 years of relevant site safety experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of construction safety regulations and HSE practices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work at project sites.
• Possess a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety and health regulations at the project site.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure workers comply with safe work procedures and use the required PPE.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and prepare reports.
• Maintain safety records, permits and other HSE documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and relevant authorities on safety matters.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the project.
