Location:Malaysia or Remote in Asia

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and culturally fluent Chinese Copywriter & Translator to join our content and marketing team. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of the iGaming, sports, and fintech industries, and the ability to produce engaging, high-quality content tailored to the Chinese-speaking market.

You will be responsible for writing, localizing, translating, and optimizing content across various formats including websites, marketing campaigns, landing pages, promotional materials, SEO content, and social media. Familiarity with SEO best practices is a strong advantage to ensure content not only engages but also ranks.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create compelling and culturally relevant content in Simplified Chinese for web pages, product descriptions, banners, CRM communications, campaigns, blogs, terms & conditions, and more.
  
• Write and adapt copy that aligns with the brand voice and resonates with Chinese-speaking audiences, especially within the iGaming or gambling space.
• Collaborate with SEO teams to develop keyword-driven content strategies that improve organic visibility.
• Partner with design, marketing, and CRM teams to support promotions, events, and product launches.
• Localize global content for Chinese users, ensuring accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and relevance.
• Conduct market and competitor research to ensure content remains fresh, relevant, and competitive.
• Proofread and edit content to maintain high standards of grammar, clarity, and consistency.
• Contribute to content calendars and campaign timelines.
• Ensure all content complies with regional regulations and platform-specific guidelines.

TheSuccessfulCandidate:

• Native-level proficiency in Simplified Chinese, with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong understanding of iGaming, online gambling, sports, and fintech industry language and audience preferences.
• Proven experience in digital content creation, ideally within gaming, betting, or related sectors.
• Working knowledge of SEO principles including keyword research, meta descriptions, and on-page optimization.
• Ability to adjust tone and messaging to suit different platforms and target audiences (e.g., VIP vs general users).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) for cross-functional collaboration and understanding briefs.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, collaborative approach.
• Knowledge of crypto, digital wallets, or online payment systems is a plus.
