RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES:

The Chief Strategy Officer is a key executive responsible for formulating and executing corporate strategies to drive business growth and enhance market positioning. He/ She will oversee long-term and short-term planning, risk assessment, strategic partnerships, innovation, and business transformation to support the company's ACE Market listing and its subsequent move to the Main Board. The ideal candidate will work closely with the C-suite and key departments to ensure sustainable growth, operational excellence, and competitive advantage.

Strategic Planning & Execution

1. Develop and implement long-term and short-term strategic plans aligned with corporate goals and financial performance objectives.
2. Drive corporate growth strategies to expand market share and revenue streams.
3. Lead strategic initiatives to support the company's transition from ACE Market to Main Board.
4. Work closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and senior leadership to align business strategy with operational goals.
5. Partner with Finance, Operations, Sales, and Legal teams to ensure efficient execution of strategic initiatives.
6. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and agility within the company.

Risk Management & Opportunity Identification

1. Identify, analyze, and manage business risks and opportunities related to expansion, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and market competition.
2. Develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and resilience.
3. Monitor industry trends, economic shifts, and competitor movements to anticipate changes and respond effectively.

Strategic Partnerships & Innovation

1. Identify and secure strategic partnerships to drive business growth and market expansion.
2. Lead initiatives on product innovation, pricing strategies, and digital transformation in the memorial park industry.
3. Explore new business models, service offerings, and investment opportunities.

Financial & Market Growth Strategies

1. Support financial planning and capital-raising efforts to facilitate ACE Market listing and future Main Board listing.
2. Drive strategies to improve company valuation, investor confidence, and shareholder returns.
3. Oversee Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, and market entry strategies to strengthen competitive advantage.

Operational Efficiency & Business Transformation

1. Lead business transformation initiatives to enhance productivity, cost-effectiveness, and service excellence.
2. Optimize operational processes to achieve scalability and efficiency.
3. Implement digitalization, automation, and technology adoption to modernize business operations.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION LEVEL & MAJOR

Candidate must possess bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, or related field. An MBA or other relevant degree is preferred.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

5-10 years of progressive experience in strategic planning or a senior management role within an organization.

REQUIRED LANGUAGE

Good command of English, Malay and Chinese dialects.
