A leading company in Malaysia is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to oversee daily operations and strategic execution across various departments. The ideal candidate will manage project oversight, financial planning, and stakeholder communication, driving growth and ensuring quality standards are met. • Oversee and manage the daily operations across all departments (e.g., development, construction, sales, finance).
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Implement and monitor effective operational processes and systems for scalability and efficiency.
Strategic Execution:
• Translate the company’s strategic vision into actionable operational plans.
• Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and drive company growth strategies.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks while optimizing profitability and ROI.
Project Oversight:
• Provide leadership for all property development projects from acquisition through to completion.
• Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and external consultants to ensure smooth execution.
• Review project feasibility, due diligence, budgeting, and scheduling.
Financial & Budgetary Management:
• Oversee operational budgets and financial planning.
• Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, ensuring cost control and revenue growth.
• Support fundraising, investor relations, and capital management efforts when required.
Stakeholder Communication:
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including investors, contractors, partners, and government authorities.
• Ensure clear internal and external communication to support business objectives and brand reputation.
