A leading Public Listed firm in Malaysia seeks an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) based in Selangor. The ideal candidate will oversee financial operations, provide strategic leadership, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. About the role
We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Malaysia Public Listed firm based in Shah Alam, Selangor. As the Chief Financial Officer for FMCG/ Healthcare Manufacturing Firm, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations and strategic direction of the company. This is a full-time position with a salary range of RM18,000 to RM28,000 commensurate with related CFO experience.
What you'll be doing
CFO role in Public Listed firm
Oversee finance, accounting, internal controls, tax compliance, cash flow, treasury management of group.
Submission & preparation BURSA quarterly reporting, annual reports, circulars to shareholders.
Providing strategic financial leadership.
Overseeing the company's financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes, oversee project accountings , risk assessments, fundings.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards
Analyzing financial data and providing insights to support decision-making
Managing the company's treasury, cash flow, and investment activities
Collaborating with other departments to align financial strategies with overall business objectives
Liaise with external corporate advisor, reporting accountants, secretary, investment banker, tax agent, regulatory body.
Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures to enhance profitability
Mentoring and developing the finance team to drive continuous improvement
What we're looking for
MIA membership
Proven record of CFO experience in Public Listed Company environment.
Strong background in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
Excellent understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices
Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
