Chief Financial Officer (Plantation) Ipoh, Perak

Oversee financial strategies and achieve favorable financial results with respect to sales, profitability, cash flow, mergers and acquisitions, systems, reporting, and controls for the Plantation Division.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Engage directly with the Board to ensure financial transparency, communicate key financial goals and priorities, and identify areas for improvement.
2. Lead the corporate team in consolidating group financial statements and reports to ensure timely and accurate annual reports.
3. Build financial models, analyze data, and prepare statements to reconcile income with expenses, monitoring the company's earnings and projected cash flow.
4. Ensure the accuracy of financial statements to assess the company's financial position, and prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
5. Prepare accurate forecasts to support management decision-making regarding investments and cost management.
6. Implement and ensure compliance with internal and statutory financial and accounting procedures, and prepare documentation for external audits.
7. Provide financial advice and insights to management on relevant issues.
8. Perform any ad-hoc tasks related to accounts and finance as assigned by management.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent from a recognized university.
2. Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years with a professional accounting firm or Big Four audit firms.
3. Must be a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and hold a CPA or similar certification.
4. Knowledge of plantation and refinery operations is an advantage.
5. Deep understanding of MFRS / IFRS / PSAK compliance requirements.
6. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
7. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
9. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
