Job description

Lead all aspects of financial management including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, and group reporting.

Develop and implement financial policies, controls, and governance structures in compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly SGX-related obligations.

Provide strategic financial insight and risk management guidance to support executive decision-making and long-term business planning.

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, audits, and disclosures in accordance with relevant financial standards (e.g., IFRS, SGX listing requirements).

Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and financial investments to optimize returns and support sustainable business growth.

Collaborate closely with other departments to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve profitability, and align financial goals with business operations.

Serve as the main liaison for external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, regulators, and investors.

Lead and mentor the finance team, building a high-performing, future-ready function.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is strongly preferred.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a CFO, with a proven track record of financial leadership and strategic impact.

Prior experience working in or with a Singapore-listed company is essential, with familiarity in SGX compliance and corporate reporting.

Foundational experience in audit (e.g., with a Big Four or reputable audit firm) is highly valued.

Deep understanding of financial management, risk controls, tax, and regulatory frameworks in both Malaysia and Singapore.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and commercial acumen.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
