Chief Finance Officer

About the Opportunity:
A dynamic and fast-growing organization is seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. This role is ideal for a finance leader who brings strong technical expertise, commercial insight, and leadership experience, with a passion for driving financial excellence and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide leadership and guidance to the finance and accounting teams.
2. Advise the executive leadership team with strategic financial recommendations.
3. Develop and enforce robust internal control policies, budgetary frameworks, and financial procedures.
4. Manage treasury functions including fundraising, cash flow projections, and budgeting.
5. Oversee the timely preparation of financial reports and performance analysis.
6. Support long-term financial planning aligned with the organization’s business goals.
7. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and build strong external relationships (e.g., bankers, shareholders, partners).
8. Lead periodic reviews with project teams to monitor and evaluate development and construction budgets.
9. Execute ad-hoc projects and deliver actionable financial insights for decision-making.

Requirements:

1. ACCA qualified with MIA membership (mandatory).
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance managerial role, preferably within a mid-to-large organization.
4. Demonstrates strong leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to make decisive calls in fast-moving environments.
