Qualifications

• At least 10 years of working experience in finance/accounting required.
• Member of MIA preferred.
• Up-to-date knowledge on approved accounting standards and Malaysian tax regulations.

• Oversee Account department and ensure operational efficiency.

Job description

You will be responsible for the financial planning and operational accounting of the Group. You will be leading a group of finance and accounting staff, providing guidance in their daily tasks.

Job Description:

Planning, implementing, managing and running of all the finance activities of the Group, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations.

Developing and maintaining a strategic financial plan, annual operating and capital budgets; financial analysis of new programs, acquisitions, and business development; revenue management; preparation of the financial statements.

Proactively advise and educate management on all aspects which financially impacted operations.

Oversee and manage entire Account department, improving operation efficiency

Consolidation and preparation of management account for reporting

Planning and implementation on tax strategy for the group

Oversee responsible for payment processing and suppliers reconciliation

Liaising with external auditors, bankers, secretary and tax agents

Handling the full set of accounts and take care of all the financial aspects of the organization

Responsible involves overseeing the account receivable and payable from time to time

Supervising and motivate staff in all aspects

Assist in ad hoc assignments/projects from time to time.

Job Requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, business administration or equivalent discipline is required.

Up-to-date knowledge of:

At least 10 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

Preferably specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent

Member of MIA
