We are representing our client a fast-growing automation machinery solution provider specializing in the design, development, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning of industrial automation systems. As the company prepares for public listing, it is entering a new growth phase and seeking a visionary and strategic CEO to lead its transformation into a more structured and corporate organization.
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly strategic, business-driven CEO with a strong mechanical engineering background and proven leadership experience in the industrial automation or machinery sector. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving corporate governance, operational excellence, business expansion, and stakeholder confidence—steering the company towards sustainable long-term growth and post-listing success.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the organization’s transformation into a corporate structure, in alignment with pre- and post-listing goals.
Define and implement strategic business plans to drive growth, profitability, and innovation.
Oversee all aspects of business operations including R&D, engineering, project management, sales, manufacturing, and service.
Strengthen internal processes, compliance, and governance in line with public listing requirements.
Lead, mentor, and build a strong executive team and company culture that supports high performance and accountability.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with the Board of Directors, investors, clients, and key industry stakeholders.
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and regional/global expansion potential.
Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the automation and manufacturing space.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus).
Proven track record in a senior leadership role (e.g., CEO, Managing Director, COO) within the automation machinery or industrial engineering sectors.
Experience in a leadership role within the public listed company.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, automation technologies, and industrial manufacturing processes.
Experience leading business transformation and scaling operations is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to drive business growth, profitability, and organizational development.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong business acumen with a data-driven and strategic mindset.
Willing to be based in Ipoh, Perak.
