We are representing our client, a well-established Halal & HACCP pastry and bakery manufacturer that distributes and supplies a broad variety of bakery and pastry products to customers such as F&B convenience stores, outlets, eateries, and airlines.
They are currently embarking on expansion plans and are seeking qualified and dynamic candidates to fill the Chief Baker (2 vacancies) position.

Main Responsibilities
- Bread Production Management: Oversee all aspects of bread production, including dough preparation, shaping, proofing, baking, and finishing, ensuring adherence to quality standards, schedules, and food safety regulations.
- Recipe Development and Standardization: Develop, refine, and document recipes for various bread types, ensuring consistency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in large-scale production.
- Ingredient Management: Manage sourcing, procurement, and inventory of ingredients, optimizing costs and ensuring high quality.
- Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Oversee operation and maintenance of bread production machinery, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
- Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop schedules, manage capacity, and coordinate with departments to meet production goals.
- Quality Control: Monitor processes and products for quality and safety, conducting inspections and corrective actions.
- Team Leadership and Training: Lead and train bakery staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process and product improvements.
- Sanitation and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety and food safety standards, maintaining a safe work environment.
- Building Talent: Develop staff skills and capabilities for effective performance and bakery success.
Requirements:
- Certification in baking or pastry arts.
- Proven experience as a baker or chief baker in large-scale bread production.
- Knowledge of bread production techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Attention to detail, quality, and efficiency.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
