Responsibilities
  • Assist the supervisor with monthly statements and prepare accounting vouchers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of reports and prepare monthly financial statements.
  • Adjust general ledger accounts and update supporting documents.
  • Prepare weekly bank reconciliations and financial reports.
  • Analyze cashier's funds and investigate discrepancies.
  • Supervise cashier's funds and review social insurance and housing fund allocations.
  • Assist in training finance staff.
  • Review travel agent commissions and ensure compliance with Hilton standards.
  • Review food and beverage control adjustments and certifications.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and monthly reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and SOPs.
  • Handle additional accounting duties in the absence of the DOF and Financial Controller.
  • Ensure timely tax payments.
  • Respond to requests and inquiries effectively and courteously.
  • Maintain safe work practices and environment.
  • Coordinate with other departments and liaise with government authorities.
  • Report accounting and financial issues to the Financial Controller.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Management preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Ledger Supervisor or higher in hospitality.
  • Strong hotel accounting background with managerial experience.
  • Reliable, mature, and trustworthy.
  • Good relationships with banks and government agencies.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Flexible working hours, especially month-end.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
