Job description

Ø To ensure the technical integrity of laboratory and new projects for both internal and external customers.

Ø To design, optimize, and improve the operation of equipment and facilities.

Ø To advise on process safety issues.

Ø To monitor, analyze, and interpret laboratory and plant data.

Ø To analyze test data and test procedures for continual process improvement.

Ø To act as the signatory for the company to certify product quality.

Ø To possess excellent analytical abilities.

Ø Working knowledge of SPC control, FMEA, and other manufacturing tools and methodologies is an advantage.

Ø Self-motivated team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ø Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and LGM compliance requirements.

Ø To assist the QA Manager in general administrative functions in the laboratory.

Ø To calculate test data tested by laboratory analysts.

Ø To check test results and, if in doubt, initiate appropriate actions, including repeat testing or reporting to the QA Manager.

Ø To maintain filing systems for test results, reports, and Certificates of Analysis.

Ø To maintain laboratory staff training records such as attendance records.

Ø Any other duties as assigned by your superior from time to time.
