Job summary

Elabram Systems Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang is seeking a Laboratory Technician for an on-site, full-time role with strong opportunities for career growth. Responsibilities include chemical sampling and analysis, adjustment, repacking, material preparation, waste disposal, and maintaining recovery room operations.

A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and at least 1 year in manufacturing are required, along with good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in manufacturing.
• Strong communication skills with all levels and stakeholders.
• Ability to lead, direct, identify and resolve issues with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Daily chemical sampling and analysis (including resampling after chemical adjustment).
• Chemical adjustment based on analysis results.
• Assist in monitoring and replenishing production chemicals for daily/top-up and preventive maintenance to avoid shortages.
• Chemical repacking (powder and solution) — daily basis.
• Chemical/filter issuing from main store to chemical buffer store (daily basis).
• PM material preparation (including S-Round cleaning).
• Recovery room arrangement (scrape collection, solution transferring & 5S).
• Waste disposal (non-cyanide & cyanide based waste).
