About the role

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our dynamic team at MY NAFCO PRECISION SDN. BHD. in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. As a Chemical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of chemical production equipment. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our growing organization.

What you'll be doing

1. Provide instruction on equipment safety usage.
2. Develop new NPI chemical processes.
3. Optimize processes by adjusting parameters to enhance production efficiency and meet quality standards.
4. Familiarity with Zinc-Nickel process is a plus.
5. Conduct testing and analysis of raw materials and finished products.
6. Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements.
7. Participate in chemical audits such as AS9100 & Nadcap.

What we're looking for

1. Major in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Chemical Engineer or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Familiarity with passivation, anodizing, silver plating, Zinc-Nickel plating processing.
4. Proficient understanding of chemical production processes and equipment, with strong technical skills and the ability to interpret technical specifications and data.
5. Effective team player with good communication skills across departments.
6. Proficiency in English (reading and speaking); Mandarin skills are preferable for communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
7. Ability to support shifts if needed.
8. Experience with audits is a plus.
9. Experience with passivation, plating, or aerospace special processes is a plus.
10. Commitment to safety and attention to detail to ensure product quality.
11. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
