Job summary

You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop menus and recipes, while upholding strict health, hygiene and HACCP standards.

You will also oversee and train Junior Commis Chefs, monitor portions and waste, and ensure clear, respectful communication across the kitchen to maintain the restaurant's professional environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Japanese Cuisine / Japanese Fusion.
• Ability to train Junior staff.
• Experience in kitchen health & safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes within the speciality section.
• Assisting Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items and recipes.
• Assisting with health and safety management.
