About the location:

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences is part of a 65-storey mixed-use tower that will include 242 Four Seasons Private Residences, 27 serviced apartments, a 209-key Four Seasons Hotel and a six- floor of 250,000 square foot luxury retail podium, collectively known as Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur. The Hotel introduces several unique dining outlets to the city, including a Cantonese restaurant, lobby and rooftop pool bars, and an all-day dining restaurant with sweeping views of the Petronas Twin Towers. Four Seasons Hotel and Residences is located in the Golden Triangle neighborhood, Kuala Lumpur’s thriving business and financial district. Chef Concierge

The Chef Concierge together with his/her team responds to guests' requests. The Chef Concierge will oversee all aspects of concierge and guest services.

This position responds to a wide variety of guests' requests by accurately assessing the guests' needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum guest satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.

Responsibilities:

• Interviews, trains and schedules the Concierge Staff (and Bell Staff).

• Supervises day-to-day performance of the staff.

• Coaches staff to achieve Core and Service Culture standards.

• Conducts performance reviews.

• Disciplines staff as needed.

• Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices.

• Assures that Concierge Staff knows what activities are available in the city (theatre, sports, concerts, shows, special exhibits, sightseeing) and establishes close contacts with vendors in these areas in order to provide information, ticketing, and reservations for guests. Assures that desk collateral and information for restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and other local attractions are updated and current.

• Processes packages, faxes, messages, and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming in an accurate and timely manner.

• Works closely with Front Desk, Reservations, Door Staff, Bell Staff and Valet Parking to assure smooth handling of guest arrivals and departures.

• Stores and retrieves guest luggage and packages.

• Utilizes a variety of software programs to accurately input special arrangements the guest has made and to assure proper billing.

Qualifications:

• Poses an affinity for guest service.

• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.

• Good knowledge in concierge.

• Ability to lift up to 60lbs.

• Able to work a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays as per business demands and needs.

• Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.

• Must be able to speak, read, and write Bahasa Malaysia.

• Must have the right to work in Malaysia.
