Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an automotive/chassis engineer to support design, evaluation, and improvement of vehicle chassis systems. The role involves prototype builds, testing, and validation to ensure performance targets are met.

You will analyze test results, coordinate with internal teams and suppliers, and assist in production readiness. Fresh graduates welcome; travel to suppliers and facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in automotive or related engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive vehicle development or chassis engineering.
• Strong understanding of chassis subsystems (suspension, steering, braking, wheels/tyres).
• Experience with prototype testing, validation, and production support is a plus.
• Able to communicate with China headquarters.
• Proficient in MS Office; CAD knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support chassis design, evaluation and improvement to meet performance requirements.
• Assist prototype builds, testing, validation, and evaluation activities.
• Analyze test results and coordinate corrective actions with engineering teams.
• Investigate chassis-related problems and perform root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams on technical requirements.
• Support trial builds, pilot production, and production readiness activities.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain engineering documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
