Job summary

Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur, Mont Kiara, is seeking an experienced Chargeman A4 to join our engineering team. A valid Chargeman A4 certificate and a minimum of 3 years' hotel engineering experience are required.

You will handle electrical distribution, switchboards, and building services, read electrical drawings, and perform routine maintenance. The role requires shift work, weekend duty, and emergency call-outs.

Qualifications

• Valid Chargeman A4 Certificate required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in hotel engineering, facilities management or related industries.
• Sound knowledge of electrical distribution systems, switchboards, generators, transformers and building services equipment.
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and building maintenance systems.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems and general maintenance works.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of OSH requirements and electrical safety regulations.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy with basic maintenance reporting and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Assists other Hosts with duties throughout the hotel when requested by superior.
• Any additional specialist skill is an advantage
