We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual to manage and grow our Modern Trade and Business-to-Business (B2B) sales channels. This role is responsible for building strong relationships with key accounts, executing trade marketing strategies, and achieving sales targets.
Job Descriptions
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and potential key modern trade accounts (e.g., pharmacies, supermarkets, convenience stores) and B2B accounts (distributors).
- Understand clients' business objectives and align company offerings to meet their requirements effectively.
- Sales Strategy Development
- Devise and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets within the modern trade & B2B segments.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for business expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create customized solutions/products tailored to clients’ needs.
- Ensure that marketing strategies align with the sales objectives for clients.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to tailor marketing campaigns that resonate with the specific needs and preferences of key clients.
- Work closely with clients to understand their unique requirements. Develop customized proposals, services, or products that meet their needs, thereby enhancing client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Use this information to anticipate changes in the market and provide proactive solutions to key accounts and B2B accounts.
- Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the modern trade & B2B segments.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, assess their needs, and develop strategies to secure new accounts.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure profitability and sustainable partnerships.
- Forecasting and Reporting
- Develop sales forecasts and track performance metrics for key clients.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and account status for management review.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 year(s) experience in Beauty FMCG industry is a MUST. Proven experience in B2B sales, key account management, or relevant roles within the modern trade sector.
- Good command of English in both spoken and written will be an added advantage.
- With an approachable, good negotiator, resourceful, innovative and an outgoing personality.
- Possess the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and to perform multi-task functions.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.
