Channel Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Strategize and identify the growth levers for each key account (Modern Trade & General Trade Retailers).
2. Develop and implement sales strategies to ensure sustainable business performance aligned with management direction.
3. Manage and monitor sales budgets to ensure optimal utilization and maximize ROI.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
5. Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base including new accounts and product categories.
6. Influence, train and coach the third-party sales team, enhancing their skills, product knowledge, and overall capabilities.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth operations and supply chain efficiency.
8. Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role within sales and marketing, preferably in FMCG or related industries.
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management. The ability to lead or manage Sales Managers or Sales Supervisors is an added advantage.
4. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
5. Able to work independently with minimal supervision while also being an effective team player.
6. Results-oriented, proactive and adaptable.
