Job Description

As the CEO, you will be reporting to the Group MD & Board of Directors. This role will have full P&L responsibilities and the overall success and growth of the business. Among the many responsibilities some are listed below:

• Develop and implement the company's strategic vision and long-term business plan.
• Oversee the daily operations and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, clients, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor financial performance and drive profitability through effective resource management.
• Lead and inspire the leadership team to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
• Identify growth opportunities within the transport & distribution sector and spearhead expansion initiatives.
• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across all departments.

The Successful Applicant

A successful CEO should have:

• A degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in senior leadership within the transport & distribution industry (15-20 years in logistics/transportation, with at least 5 years in senior leadership (CEO, COO, or GM)
• Strong financial and operational management skills.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• A track record of driving business growth and achieving strategic objectives.
• In-depth knowledge of the transport & distribution sector and its regulations.
• Adaptability and resilience to lead in a dynamic business environment.
