About the Role

Manage the end-of-end supply planning process, including order planning, shipment planning & collaborate with relevant stakeholders for monitoring custom clearance, activity management process to ensure product availability at the optimum cost and inventory level. Effectively interact and communicate with stakeholders including factory, local operation, central demand planner, local inbound coordinators, and finance to ensure timely shipment delivery and maintaining high level of customer satisfaction.

Being part and support the planning stakeholder community, drive Continuous Improvement in collaboration with Regional E2E Supply Planner and/or Business Process Owners (BPO).

Responsibilities

Central Supply Planning

  • Develop a reliable and robust supply plan for the markets under his/her responsibility by translating demand plan into supply plan/forecast (2years+) for the main DC’s as well as replenishment proposal for the sub DCs, integrating all the supply chain insights including inventory, inbound parameters, and safety stocks for each market.
  • Guardian of FuturMaster and Statistical Model Inventory (SMI) set up for the markets under his/her responsibility.
  • Monitor, update and maintain supply planning parameters in the system for the markets under his/her responsibility (minimal order quantity (MOQ), end to end lead time, including shipment, and custom clearance, safety stock definition).
  • Share and upload periodic supply forecast for the markets under his/her responsibility to regional supply planner and respective factories.
  • Collaborate with GOT to ensure optimum terms and costs for business.
  • Annually support to local Inbound coordinator for GOT tendering process with tabulation of containers needs per lane for the markets in his/her responsibility.
  • Prepare the weekly replenishment plan to the respective sourcing factories and raise purchase order / integrate to factories.
  • Upon placement of orders to factories, continuously monitor the plan order vs actuals and shipment arrival date together with Inbound coordinator for the markets in his/her responsibility. And keep all affected parties apprised of potential problems or issues impacting the business, including risks and opportunities.
  • Engage with local Inbound coordinator and local Logistics team for the markets in his/her responsibility to ensure seamless inbound and logistics management from the point of vessel space booking, loading, shipment, local customs clearance and delivery to warehouse.
  • Support local Inbound coordinators in period end PO reconciliation for the markets in his/her responsibility.
  • Manage core Supply planning responsibilities and lead the key transformational projects related to Supply Chain for the markets in his/her responsibility (e.g. Supply Planning systems implementation and integration with Demand Planning).
  • Represents the SEA cluster or markets under his/her responsibility in the Regional VCO community (factories performance, systems issues, inbound quality etc.).

Inventory Management

  • Maintain an accurate master SKU list in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for the markets in his/her responsibility.
  • Manage product freshness and inventory at 3PL for the markets in his/her responsibility to improve customer service, optimize pipeline inventory, and minimize total business loss.
  • Highlight inventory concern and collaborate with demand team to resolve ad hoc request, short expiry products and high inventory product toward cost effective inventory level.

S&OP+ Process

  • Facilitator of Supply Management Review (SMR), present the plan, drive alignment, sharing the risks and opportunities, and leading the conversation around developing action plans and informed decision making with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Representative in S&OE review to share supply and inventory update, and provide inbound supply visibility to demand team.
  • Proactively assess and trigger the supply constraint escalation under his/her markets.
  • Sharing the best practices with other countries across SEA to align on ways of working and grow maturity of existing S&OP+ process.

FuturMaster Supply Planning Key User responsibilities

  • Acquire the best knowledge about business processes and supporting systems functionality of FuturMaster.
  • Assess process conformance for the markets in his/her responsibility and suggest actions for improvements to BPOs if required.
  • Test new system functionality (periodical and yearly slots) with the objective to avoid process perturbation and to potentially introduce the new functionality into related local business processes to move to the next level of best practice.
  • Train business users (existing and new joiners) on business processes and supporting systems functionality.
  • Support business users by fixing issues or by escalating issues to regional or global support teams, IT or Business.
  • Represent area of responsibility in x-functional workgroups with other KUs to ensure seamless integration across functions.
  • Act as the Guardian of RC E2E Planning Core Model Solution and Process Golden rules (specific to Supply Planning) in his/her market(s).

Qualifications

  • Post graduate or above degree.
  • APICS and / or Project management certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication (both written & oral) in English.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Supply Planning, Inventory Management and Logistics.
  • Proven track record in supply planning processes, S&OP, and business knowledge in organizations / processes.
  • Knowledge of Demand Planning, Capacity Planning, ERP, FuturMaster, IT interfaces and Master data is a plus.
