Career Opportunities: Catering Logistic Operator (22162)

Catering Logistic Operator is responsible for promoting and delivering safe, timely, and efficient ground handling services, including operating all ground equipment for our contractual customer airlines. This must be carried out in accordance with AeroDarat, regulatory department, customer airlines policies, standard operating procedures (SOP), and service level agreement (SLA). The role requires working in a safe, secure, professional, and cost-effective manner, ensuring all assets are handled with care.

Key Accountability

• Load items into designated storage locations in the aircraft as per cart, SU, blanket, pillow, & loading manual.
• Operate Hi-Lift/Van to transport food items between MCAT and aircraft.
• Load and off-load food carts between MCAT outbound/outbound and catering vehicles.
• Load in-flight meals onto the aircraft following cabin loading plans.
• Handover & acceptance of catering items by Cabin Crew.
• Ensure safety & security of Hi-lift equipment, e.g., lashing, carts, SU.
• Before opening a cabin door, ensure no cabin crew or Ground Engineer is in the vicinity.
• Before closing a door, check for obstructions around the door area.
• Manage handover & acceptance between MAS Awana & ADS.
• Uplift all items per checklist, ensuring correct items and quantities.
• Ensure all specialized equipment is in serviceable condition for deployment.
• Maintain hygiene and proper maintenance of specialized equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superiors and management.

Qualification & Work Experience

SPM or SPMV, with proficiency in English and Bahasa, and 1-2 years’ experience in Airport Services or related fields.

Skills & Knowledge

• Average command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Attend all regulatory and mandatory training as per AeroDarat Training Manual (TGM).
