Role Purpose
- Responsible in coordination of the catering logistics operation team at the MCAT outbound/inbound area and at the terminal of logistics processes, ensuring optimization of inflight meals from provider mapped out with operational resources, and act as liaison officer to relevant stakeholders.
- This is to be carried out in accordance with AeroDarat, regulatory department and customer airlines policies, standard operating procedures (SOP) and service level agreement (SLA).
Key Accountability- Coordinate with MAS Awana as the food supplier on the readiness of meal by respective flights ahead of time to ensure on time delivery by ADS logistics team with the accurate information ie STD, aircraft type, aircraft registration etc.
- Ensure proper and documented handover of inflight meals from MAS Awana to ADS logistics team based on the required respective standard quality and requirements
- Monitor/supervise equipment breakdown and report CRE/CRS on equipment defects.
- To hold accountability and ensure compliance with SOP for all type of catering logistics equipment at all time
- Act as a liaison of officer between the Hi-lift operator, scheduler, cabin crews, IFO PC, MAS Awana and TRC on any operation matters and to be available at each flights assigned
- Responsible of compliancy by operators and loaders of the following scope and not limited to;
- Safety
- Galley loading diagram
- Cart arrangement in the aircraft
- Type of cart / standard unit
- To ensure all handover are being documented and signed by the right person in charge and submitted to the Command Centre for the record.
- Responsible to provide delay reasons for the duty manager on duty.
- To liaise with TRC regarding any flight discrepancies.
- Harmonize catering logistics resources ensuring all flights to be dispatch are being executed as per agreed time
- Other duties as assigned by superior and management
Qualification & Work Experience
Diploma in any related field in inflight catering operation or SPM with 1-2 years’ experience in inflight catering or other related fields.
Skill & Knowledge
- Average command of writing and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Required to attend all regulatory and mandatory training as per AeroDarat Training Manual (TGM).
- Knowledge in MS Office application (Excel, Word and Power Point) and PC literate.
