Job description

ROLE OVERVIEW

Support and execute the category strategies and sourcing plans with the objective to maximize the value for the business, achieve budget objectives and actively manage suppliers, stakeholders and risks. Act as expert for his/her own category demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the relevant markets. Advocate and foster sustainable Procurement (incl. CSR) and procurement innovation strategies and projects. Support continuous improvement of Procurement capabilities and practices in alignment with the overall Asahi strategy and external benchmarks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Act according to the Procurement purpose, vision, strategies and governance.
  2. Promote a ‘one team’ spirit to enable sharing of best practices and knowledge
  3. Ensure adherence to defined governance, policies, and processes.
  4. Protect all company assets by putting in place internal control system and procedures.
  5. Protect the reputation of Asahi by following applicable legislation.
  6. Advocate and foster sustainable Procurement (incl. CSR) and procurement innovation strategies and projects.
  7. Support the creation and implement category strategies.
  8. Support the execution strategic sourcing plans to maximize the value for the business.
  9. Support the management and tracking of respective category plans and budgets including objectives, key value drivers and related KPI’s.
  10. Support risk management for respective categories focusing on extended agenda: price volatility, supplier stability, and product or service availability.
  11. For respective categories support development and maintenance of strong partnership with suppliers including performance and quality assurance.
  12. For respective categories support building and enhancement of strong stakeholder relationship across all Procurement activities.
  13. Contribute to Procurement operational excellence.
  14. Support continuous improvement of Procurement capabilities and practices in alignment with the overall Asahi strategy and external benchmarks.

REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree, preferably in Business related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience, 2+ years of which in Procurement
  • International experience from a multinational company
  • Advanced MS office skills
  • Procurement platform/-s experience
