Manage assigned material categories in alignment with other material categories and with overarching procurement strategy (analyze and classify spend and suppliers)
Supplier management in alignment with the material category strategy regarding quality, cost, R&D, and logistics
Identify and implement optimization levers and report progress
Coordinate, implement, and evaluate tenders
Qualify, develop, and consolidate suppliers
Continuously review the innovation portfolio of strategic suppliers
Conduct yearly business reviews and contract management
Lead supplier negotiations, evaluations, and audits
Your expertise:
Degree in business, business engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, physics, or similar
Profound experience in international procurement, supply chain management, or development
Profound knowledge in procurement and logistics
Experience in category management within high-tech manufacturing
Strong technical understanding, ideally in electronics, polymers, or mechanical processing
Experience in project management, preferably in agile development
Analytical skills with a structured working approach
Strong communication skills and professional presence
Willingness to travel to internal and external stakeholders; intercultural competencies
Ability to communicate complex matters clearly to top management
