Job summary

Heriot-Watt University Malaysia is seeking a casual academic staff member to support the delivery of D18BT Building Services for the January semester. The successful candidate will teach, assess, and support students to ensure a high-quality learning experience in line with the University’s standards.

The role is based at the Putrajaya campus, requires English fluency, and may include weekend teaching. The appointee will collaborate with the global course leader to ensure consistency in delivery.

Qualifications

• Essential: fluency in English to deliver courses in English and support students.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 for content delivery and communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver D18BT Building Services in accordance with the University’s standards.
• Undertake teaching and assessment duties with classes that might be conducted on weekends.
• Provide guidance and support for students, including additional assistance where necessary.
• Liaise with the global course leader to ensure alignment and consistency in course delivery.
• Prepare for all tutoring activities.
• Mark examination papers and complete related administrative duties in line with University policies.
