About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cashier to join our vibrant restaurant team at OMBAK PANTAI in Setiu Terengganu. This full-time role is responsible for providing excellent customer service and efficient cash handling at our popular seaside restaurant. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will play a vital part in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable dining experience.

What you'll be doing

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional manner

Operate the cash register and process payments accurately and efficiently

Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions and balance cash drawer at the end of each shift

Provide information about the menu, daily specials and dining options to customers

Assist with other front-of-house duties as required, such as clearing tables and restocking supplies

Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation

Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to deliver excellent customer service

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer-facing role within the hospitality industry

Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for accurate cash handling

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers

Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team

Flexible and adaptable to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends
