Job summary

Ria Money Transfer in Malaysia seeks a friendly Cashier within Retail Operations to provide frontline customer service, process transactions, verify customer information, and support daily operations in line with company procedures.

The role requires fresh graduates with SPM or above, ability to work weekends, basic computer skills (MS Word/Excel), and cash-handling experience; strong customer service is essential. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

Fresh graduate with SPM and above.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
Some computer knowledge with MS Word and Excel.
Cash handling experience is highly preferred.
Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Interact with customers face to face to receive and process all products such as money transfers, money orders, selling and buying foreign currency.
Accurately verify or enter the customer’s information on our systems.
Courteously assist customers with various inquiries such as questions about our services, service cancellations or other Ria locations.
Recognize problems, issues or complaints during queries and propose solutions or escalate to the management team.
Keep up to date with Ria’s products, services, and policies.
Balance your cash register and prepare cash for bank deposit.
Prepare your daily transactions record.
Perform other duties as assigned or requested by your colleagues and superiors.
