Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring a friendly cashier to assist customers with purchases and answer inquiries. You’ll ensure accurate cash and card transactions, balance the till, and maintain a clean, welcoming counter area.

Responsibilities include monitoring stock, replenishing items, checking equipment daily, and providing excellent service at Setia Taipan, Setia Alam. Prior retail experience is preferred and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• High School/SPM/Diploma or equivalent with basic math.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Attention to detail for handling transactions and monitoring stock.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with purchases and address inquiries to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and balance the cash drawer.
• Monitor and replenish counter stock to avoid shortages and maintain availability.
• Check counter equipment daily and report any issues for repair or replacement.
• Keep the counter clean, tidy and hygienic to provide a pleasant shopping environment.
