Job summary

Kapitan Tandoori House in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah, seeks a reliable cashier with basic mathematics and cash-handling skills to support daily sales. The role involves greeting customers, processing payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate cash balancing at shift start and end.

A positive, team-oriented attitude and good attendance are essential. Previous cashier or customer service experience is an advantage, and basic computer skills help operate the POS system.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operating the cash register/POS system.
• Issuing receipts and handling refunds or exchanges.
• Counting and balancing cash at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Checking prices, discounts, and promotions.
• Assisting customers with basic product or store enquiries.
• Keeping the checkout area clean and organized.
• Monitoring and reporting any cash discrepancies.
• Following company policies and procedures.
• Assisting with stocking or other store duties when required.
• Maintaining good customer service and handling complaints professionally.
