Job summary

Cowboy (KL) Sdn Bhd is seeking a cashier to handle customer payments by cash, card, and QR, scan items, and issue receipts. You will count cash during opening and closing and keep the counter clean and organized.

Assist customers with basic enquiries, report payment issues to the supervisor, and follow SOPs. Training is provided; no previous experience required. Basic computer knowledge is a plus, and honesty, patience, and good communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer payments by cash, credit/debit card, and QR payment.
• Scan items and ensure the correct price and quantity are entered.
• Issue receipts to customers after payment.
• Count and check cash accurately during opening and closing.
• Ensure the cashier counter is clean, tidy, and organized.
• Assist customers with basic enquiries during payment.
• Report any payment issue, price discrepancy, refund request, or system problem to the supervisor.
• Follow company cashier SOP and payment procedures.
• Support basic store operations when required by the supervisor.
