About the role We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Cashier to join our retail team at our Batu Ferringhi location in Penang. As a Cashier, you will be the final point of contact for our customers, responsible for processing transactions efficiently and accurately whilst maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere. This role is essential to delivering an exceptional customer experience and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail operations.

What you'll be doing

• Processing customer payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system, including cash, card and digital payment methods
• Maintaining a balanced cash drawer and reconciling daily transactions at the end of each shift
• Greeting customers warmly and providing courteous, efficient service at the checkout
• Scanning items and ensuring correct pricing is applied to all purchases
• Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues professionally and tactfully
• Bagging purchases appropriately and presenting an organised checkout experience
• Assisting with stock rotation, shelf management and maintaining a clean and tidy checkout area
• Following company policies and procedures, including those related to security and loss prevention
• Supporting the wider retail team during busy periods and assisting with other store duties as required

• Previous experience working in a retail or customer service environment, with proven cashier or till operation experience
