The Cash Apps Agent’s main responsibility is to post cash to outstanding invoices and undertake the reconciliation of a variety of currency account reconciliations, along with several specific accounting tasks ranging from simple to medium complexity. The agent also acts as support to the collections team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Apply payments based on payment remittances and instructions from customers, in accordance with the DTP.
• Resolve internal and external customer queries professionally. Book ad hoc journals such as bank charges and interest.
• Participate in cross-functional workstreams to resolve business process issues.
• Share accurate information with all interdependent groups, adhering to strict deadlines.
• Support queries from collectors and finance team regarding customer account reconciliation issues.
• Prepare month-end reports within deadlines.
• Adhere to WHT rules as outlined within DTP.
• Process and manage reversals for various business units.
• Support ad-hoc audit requirements such as SOX audit.
• Perform posting payments within SLA periods and address any unapplied payments by month-end within client tolerance limits.
• Handle customer refund requests promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS & KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Preferred 1 year experience in Accounting Cash Applications.
• Responsibility and accuracy in completing tasks.
• Ability to solve complex issues and work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills in both Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines under time pressure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude and flexibility, especially during month/quarter/year-end closing.
