Caring Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant/Sales Assistant in Bukit Bintang/City Centre. You will assist customers with product information, manage displays, handle stock, and support payment processing.

Training is provided to ensure accurate service and cashier operations. The role focuses on delivering friendly customer service in a fast-paced pharmacy environment, with opportunities for promotion and health insurance benefits.

• Customer-facing role experience preferred.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to assist customers with product information and selections.

Responsabilités

• Attend to customers and provide product information.
• Ensure product visibility and proper display; follow FEFO/FIFO inventory
• Receive goods, store deliveries, and assist in stock control
• Respond to customer inquiries and refer to pharmacy team as needed
• Attach price tags, stay informed on promotions, and set up displays
• Process cash and card payments and balance cash register with receipts

Duties/Responsibilities (Training Provided)

Customer Assistance: Attend to customers, providing product information, helping them find what they need, and offering advice on product selection.

Product Display: Ensure product visibility and proper display, implementing FEFO and FIFO practices for inventory management.

Inventory Management: Receive incoming goods, store deliveries appropriately, and assist in stock control and management.

Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and complaints, referring them to the appropriate pharmacy team member when necessary.

Promotions and Pricing: Attach price tags to products, stay updated on special promotions, and create appealing displays.

Payment Processing: Process cash and card payments accurately and balance the cash register with receipts.

CARiNG Pharmacy was established in 1994 by 5 pharmacists, who were course-mates in the School of Pharmacy, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).

The first CARiNG Outlet opened in Taman Muda, Cheras. At that time, the awareness of community pharmacy services was still low. The founders took these important steps to instill the value of pharmacists in the healthcare profession by:

Providing 12 hours a day, 7 days a week full time pharmacist service.

Providing easily accessible pharmacist counseling service, free blood pressure checks and other health checks at a minimum fee.

Designing the store with a modern, open concept to maximise interaction with customers and merchandise. With this successful concept, CARiNG Pharmacy is growing fast within the Peninsular Malaysia.
